Good afternoon,  In this blog entry, we will briefly introduce you to our NPO that we will be creating and talk about what inspired us to create such an NPO and why we felt there was a need for it.  If you want to know more details about it, feel free to click our next blog entry.  Our NPO is called "CWA" which stands for Cosmetic Without Animals. The meaning/inspiration behind this name is a little bit of a long story.  From Survey Monkey, we were inspired by these two questions. For the question asking what kind of animal rights issue the participants can think of, "animal testing" was the most answered topic. This shows that animal testing is well known, and our age group is concerned about this issue the most. The second question was whether they think animal testing should be banned. Hello,I'm Ako! First of all, thank you for answering my survey! The answers were very useful to know how people think about animal rights issue. Majority of the answer were by female, and under 19 or among 20 to 29 years old. Most of them were Japanese, but I also got answers from British and Canadian. For the answers to the question "What kind of Animal Rights issues can you think of?", the most answered issue was animal testing, which was the 4 answers among the 16 answers. From this result, I knew that Animal testing was the most known issue in our age. For the Question "How often do you hear about Animal Rights issue?", the answers were not biased. However, 42% said that they only hear about it few times in a year. Next Question was "Do you support Animal Rights movement or organization in any way?". Hello, First I would like to say "THANK YOU" from the bottom of my heart to all respondents who participated in the google form.  In total, I received answers from 19 people of different nationalities of American, Japanese, half Japanese and Indonesian, and Korean.  As I suspected, most people, 57.9% answered were teenagers, then 31.6% were in their 20s to 25s, and 10.5% were over 60.  I decided to ask about their dietary preferences because that might be related to how they would answer each question. We are going to take a survey on Google Form and Survey Monkey to see how much information people know about animal rights.  We hope to get answers from various age groups and different nationalities.
